Business Plans

Circling the Square’s has carried out a number of business, communication and marketing plans for a variety of client, most notably work for the Arts Council, East during 2004/05 on the partnership agreements with the counties of Essex and Hertfordshire. Below is summary information on these and other strategic planning.

 

Essex – ‘Insite’ Cultural Tourism Business Plan

Circling the Square produced a strategic business plan, marketing and fund raising report for the 3-year partnership agreement (2004-2007) between all the Essex local authorities and Arts Council East. The theme for this partnership entitled ‘Insite’ was cultural tourism and is worth approximately £1.5 million investment over the 3-year period. The partnership aims to further develop Essex as a cultural destination of choice, challenge current perceptions by increasing awareness of Essex as a vibrant and diverse county and celebrate Essex’s distinctiveness and convey positive images through a diverse programme of arts & cultural tourism initiatives.

Arts|Generate – East England  Regional Facilitator       

Circling the Square’s Tim Ward worked over a two year period for Arts Council England, East on an annual consultancy basis to be their Regional Facilitator on the Arts|Generate Programme. This work involves supporting the work of the five Arts|Generate projects located in Southend, Luton, Thurrock, Dunstable and Great Yarmouth, providing advice on advocacy, funding, running regular team meetings and information sessions. This work also included producing a communications strategy and individual marketing plans for the projects.

Hertfordshire – ‘Green Heart’ Partnership Business Plan

Circling the Square produced the business plan for the 3-year partnership agreement (2004-2007) between all the Hertfordshire local authorities – district, borough and county councils. The themes developed for the ‘Green Heart’ partnership was Environmental Sustainability, Urban & Rural Renaissance and Social Cohesion. Part of this work involved submitted a successful GFA (Grants for Arts) Application – 180K and acted as an Interim Facilitator for the programme.
